Doesn’t run on Nokia 5800 XM and Nokia N73.
KrrNotSupported :-o?
Strange, since I used 5800 XM myself. Some basic questions:
1) PyS60 1.4.5 or 1.9.5?
2) Do you have runtime and SIS on same disk?
3) Is that full error note? Did you see anything on screen at all?
4) Could you run a debug version and send me back log file? Most likely won’t help, but anyway…
Thanx for reporting,
–jouni
Some genuine answers:
1) KrrNotSupported: Means that Python version is correct. So now you know its 1.4.5
2) KrrNotSupported: So the sis is installed on the same drive. Otherwise it would just flash 😉
3) Never seen half error notes. Obviously I see the error note on the screen.
4) Debug version: No sorry, I am an end-user, why would I ever do that for a closed source software, even when you say it won’t help most likely. Would I get paid to do that?
Thanx for asking some questions, I never felt so good after an interview.
1) 1.4.5 on 5800 thanx, I’ll uninstall and reinstall everything and see what happens!
2) Occasionally runtime and SIS can be on diff drives. Occasionally they have to be on same, no detailed explanation known. Just weird, but to be on safe side I always recommend installing on same disk 🙂
3) 5800 is 5800 is 5800, pretty much. Weird why camera would not work! Wonder what is your 5800 firmware version (*#0000*). I have 21.0.025. N73 is 3.0 INITIAL version, my tests were on E61i which is 3.0 MR i.e. more uptodate.
4) Not paid, just possibility to get functional freeware sw 😉 Debug version: install SIS, run it once, email back plain ASCII log file (full trace output as far as it gets). Screen photo would be nice. Hmph, maybe I should upload debug version on website just in case…
Anyways, no obligations whatsoever, ever grateful for this report!
Could you release the source, please? Or make a small camera tutorial, whatever is easier for you… Thanks!
Nevermind… I think the magic camera source has everything I need. Thanks!
Ok, that’s fine! KameraMation source code is “experimental”, contains pretty much of stuff which didn’t work… Waiting for some reported defects to fix, to get some features working.
Btw thanx for reminder! Will have to check how it works with PyS60 1.9.7 and make an update.
