Does Opensign Online seem a pain to you ?

Ever since Symbian Signed stopped giving free dev certs, Opensigned online is the process that we follow to sign our application installation files (Sis files).

Those of you who have been developing some good PyS60 applications or any symbian applications must have undoubtedly gone through this tiring process and might be familiar with the following.

Lots of fields to fill, including the CAPTCHA or distorted letters 🙁

Few months ago, y.a.k developed the Opensigned Online automation tool – with Python ofcourse, which made the job little easier. Now recently there is a firefox extension called Sign That Sis which would do the same thing.

For use when you come across an unsigned symbian OS sis file which you want to try out. Using its settings, it pre-fills the necessary fields on the symbian signed web site and all you have to do is type in the CAPTCHA or distorted letters.

This extension is still experimental !
