Game Physics!
by Manikantan
I have always liked to link more mathematics in games. Always wanted to learn the coding of Game Engines, Physics engines.
Flash has developed into an extraordinary platform for Graphics design and game development. Flash has evolved greatly in the last decade and there are a lot of open source Game engines available for free online. You can try Papervision3D or Sandy 3D. Both of these concentrate on creating 3D objects, their rotation and comprehensively deal with their operations. Fisix engine is also one such Engine that is worth a mention. Understand that, these engines here are for Flash and not Flash Lite. Hence, they cannot be used on Mobile ecosystems.
In one of my recent articles posted in Forum Nokia Wiki, I describe and tutor the basic dynamic animation of objects. It introduces analytical geometry (with a Flash Background) and some code snippets to support the same.
The article I posted can be obtained here. I shall soon post sequel posts at FN Wiki, on this same topic.
